Burwell Hunt and Mike Davies formed the core of the architectural practice in 1994 which has recently evolved into Architecture HDT Ltd with 3 directors, Mike Davies,Mark Bates and Geoff Glynan. Mike Davies is responsible for bringing to life many Wellington pubs such as, Molly Malones, Leuven and the award winning Backbencher. Other noteworthy projects such as the Martinborough Hotel have made a valuable contribution to the built environment. Mark Bates has been in a wide range of different project types from small residential alterations to larger new commercial projects. Recent project work has revolved around aquatic facility design and documentation. Geoff Glynan has worked as Project Architect on a range of residential, hospitality and commercial projects His particular focus as a Director is on large mixed use commercial development.
