It all started with a few colleagues and a whole lot of history. Late nights. Heated debates. Sometimes with adult beverages. We’re a passionate group of independent brand strategists, writers, designers, project managers and producers, unapologetically protective of the brands in our charge. Most of us have been doing this for decades, but don’t let that fool you. We’re not old-school; we’re smart, progressive thinkers who love a good challenge. We’ve had Super Bowl spots. Worked with celebrities. Won a bunch of impressive awards. We’ve spent our careers working together at different agencies—large and small, traditional and digital. We’re as diverse as our ideas, but we have one thing in common: a desire to do good work for good people. And we’ll go to great lengths to help our clients conquer the world, or at least their category. Some might say we’re modern-day marketing pirates—without all the scurvy. So just what is it that we do? We find insights that create opportunities. Opportunities to engage your audience, differentiate your brand, grow your business, and maybe even disrupt your category. We take insights and turn them into big ideas that break through the clutter. Ideas that come in many forms depending on the problem we’re trying to solve. Ideas that can be executed across all mediums, channels, and touch-points. We take the big idea and place it where it’s most relevant. We call this Connections Planning. We’ve build brands using broadcast, print, video, digital display, rich media, interactive TV, interactive print, out-of-home, environmental, events, promotions, installations, stunts, etc. You name it, we’ve probably done it at least once in our careers.
