B.P. was a watchmaker in Lancaster, PA for Hamilton Watch Company before he and his wife, Jane, moved to State College to open a store of their own. After the sudden passing of B.P., Gary agreed to help his mother with the store. It was under his and his wife Judy's leadership that Moyer Jewelers grew and moved to its current location on the corner of College and Allen. Moyer Jewelers is now into its third generation. Gary has officially retired and now his daughter Lori and her husband Chris are providing their leadership to the store.
