Rasa was founded in 2018 by Lopa van der Mersch, who was looking for a better way to energize after having a baby. She had years of study in Ayurveda and its sister sciences, which inspired her to fill our daily cup with more than the spike-&-slump cycle of coffee. Rasa is a line of deliciously robust coffee alternatives that combine adaptogens, mushrooms, & prebiotics to give nourishing energy that sustains. Our herbalist-formulated blends pay homage to the wisdom of Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, & Western Herbalism, plus a hearty dose of scientific research. We're on a mission to provide an affordable, delicious alternative to coffee that nourishes while it energizes as a counter to the extractive demands of modern life.
