SCMC was established in the year 2006 and commissioned in 2008 the first line with a 1.5million Mt/Year. In 2015 second line was commissioned; total annual production capacity becomes 2.1 Million Mt. Under the SCMC brand, a Lime Calcination facility was established in 2015, to become one of 3 manufactures of Lime in the region with total annual capacity of 220,000Mt. In 2018, successfully, a hydrated lime plant was set up, catering to the desalination plants of the region and also food grade certification was granted to supply to the sugar factories in the region. Today the Lime factory is the largest Lime manufacturing company in the UAE. SCMC has catered to mega projects in the UAE such as the Burj Khalifa Dubai, The Louvre Abu Dhabi, The Metro Stations and many more.
