TMSS, standing for Thengamara Mohila Sabuj Sangha, is a micro credit NGO in Bangladesh. TMSS, founded by Dr Professor Hosne Ara Begum, Ashoka Fellow, in 1980 in Bogra, Bangladesh, is a women-oriented leading Bangladeshi organization working for alleviation of poverty, empowerment of women, improvement of socio-economic infrastructure, and a society with capabilities to cope with the advances in information and communication technology (ICT) in Bangladesh. TMSS operates in all of the 64 districts of Bangladesh through over 900+ branches those employ more than 18,000 staff as of 2014.
