MEDFORT è un’associazione culturale senza scopo di lucro nata a Luglio 2020 ed ha come obiettivo principale la tutela, promozione e valorizzazione delle architetture militari, sistemi difensivi e ogni bene immobile di rilievo per la storia politica-militare, quali elementi costitutivi del cosiddetto patrimonio fortificato con particolare riguardo all’area dello Stretto di Messina e più in generale all’area euro-mediterranea. MEDFORT is a non-profit organisation based in Italy and established in July 2020. It aims towards the preservation, enhancement and promotion of military cultural heritage such as fortifications and generally relevant structures linked to military history. Medfort particularly emphasises the structures located in the area of the Strait of Messina (southern Italy), as well as those located in the Euro-Mediterranean context.
