Who are we? We are the European Marine Science Educators Association (EMSEA)! EMSEA is a network of marine science educators acting as one voice across Europe and beyond. Our mission is to act as a hub for the European marine education community to promote and deliver Ocean Literacy across society by working with scientists, teachers, policy makers and the public. Our Vision? Our shared vision is a society of Ocean Literate citizens who recognise the vital importance of the Ocean, working together to ensure it is sustained for future generations. What do we do? EMSEA is a membership organisation. We support our members by sharing good practice and training opportunities through our annual international conferences. We work on grant funded projects, ensuring our members can benefit from this work. We organise events within our EMSEA regional groups and provide ways for the network to connect through digital platforms.
