In truth, the brunt of these hardships are disproportionally faced by POC and LGBTQ+ artists who are inherently deemed unmarketable and unworthy of mainstream attention. We've decided to take a stand against this injustice. “The Cultural Reset” is an organization that seeks to revolutionize the music industry through uplifting the talent, stories, and artistry of POC and LGBTQ+ artists. Through writing reviews on albums by POC and LGBTQ+ musicians, conducting intimate interviews with POC and LGBTQ+ talent, and curating weekly playlists with songs by POC and LGBTQ+ musicians, TCR empowers underrepresented voices to make a space for themselves in the industry.
