Ophthalmic Seminars of San Antonio provides the Why+How=Success and as been designed and developed to meet the educational needs of allied health personnel in ophthalmology and optometry. Seminars are specifically for ophthalmic assistants and technicians certified by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) or non certified that are preparing to take a certification test, optometric assistants, and for ophthalmologist's and optometrist's ever increasing need to provide affordable continuing training of their staff. We strive to keep our fees affordable to you the ophthalmologist, optometrist, and the individual ophthalmic or optometric assistant desiring this training. We will provide JCAHPO continuing education credits as needed and will require eight weeks to process an application prior to your seminar. In-office training is the most productive method in providing quality training of today's ophthalmic office staff and we design our programs with lectures and hands-on workshops. The goal of every seminar is to provide an understanding as to the "why" and to the "how" when performing the tasks required in todays ophthalmic/optometric office. All seminars are presented in a dynamic, practical, and clear way so that even the newest assistant can perform at higher skill level.
