We strive to change the way our students think about business. We want our students to become leaders in their field, with real-world skills, international accreditation and pioneering research. Our Potchefstroom, Mafikeng and Vanderbijlpark campuses offer students an internationally accredited MBA that gives them the edge in the ever-changing business environment. We offer various language options and modes of delivery for our flagship programmes – the MBA and Postgraduate Diploma in Management. Our vision is to be an innovative and quality-driven business school that, strongly anchored within a regional context, also plays a dynamic role in Africa as well as internationally. The NWU Business School is committed to high quality teaching, research and the operationalisation of expertise measured against international standards with a client- and service-oriented approach. Our mission is vested in our 8 key pillars, which leads to the formulation of goals and targets that the we aim to achieve, namely: • The optimal utilisation of academic and support staff. • To develop, teach and empower through innovative teaching and quality learning, well-rounded graduates capable of thinking laterally and critically, and who are able to serve the country, continent and the world. • Develop and maintain relevant, focused research of a high standard that is aligned with national priorities and offers innovative solutions to the challenges that face the academic community. • Expand the commercialisation, implementation and marketing of expertise to benefit all. • Expand the community involvement in order to make a difference. • Proactive expansion and maintenance of international collaboration agreements. • Development of the NWU Business School image and the strengthening thereof. • Be a responsible, well-managed and financially-viable business school with a focus to better the quality of our core business.
