www.trustaged.orgAdvocates and Guardians for the Elderly & Disabled (AGED, Inc.) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit trust company that assists seniors and disabled individuals of all ages qualify for government benefits, reduce medication costs, and preserve assets. AGED, Inc. provides three types of Special Needs Trusts: * d(4)(A) Disability Trusts are for disabled individuals under 65 who need to qualify for, and/or protect, government benefits. *d(4)(C) Pooled Trusts have no age restrictions, and can be established by anyone as long as the assets used to fund the trust belong to the disabled beneficiary. Pooled trusts must be managed by a non-profit organization, like AGED, Inc. *Third Party Trusts are designed to hold gifted or inherited assets from a third party to an individual or beneficiary with special needs. The Special Needs Trusts administered by AGED, Inc. conform to Qualified Medicaid Trust Guidelines under Florida DCF A-22: “The qualified Medicaid pooled trust for disabled individuals is a legal instrument which meets criteria 42 U.S.C. § 1396 (p)(d)(4)(c) and which allows disabled individuals to place assets and/or income into a trust to qualify for Medicaid assistance.”
