The heart of the Big Wave Project, the Big Wave Community, will foster independence for adults with developmental disabilities. Located near Half Moon Bay, 30 minutes south of San Francisco, Big Wave will provide its residents with emotional, financial, and environmental sustainability in affordable, eco-friendly housing. The Project will feature 8 acres of wetlands restoration; green, affordable housing for developmentally disabled adults in a co-op, community setting; meaningful vocational opportunities for individuals with disabilities; and LEED certified buildings.
