The Czech IVLP Alumni Club created the first graduates of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) from the Czech Republic. The IVLP program is organized and funded by the Department of Education and Culture of the US State Department. Under this program, experts and leaders from various countries worldwide visiting the USA for short-term study programs. Since 1992, more than 500 representatives from the Czech Republic have participated in the IVLP program in multiple fields and areas of activities, especially in politics, public administration, education, science, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, human rights, culture, and others. The association aims are to support graduates of the IVLP program in the active use and transfer of experience from this program for the benefit of Czech society, to help and contribute to the development of Czech-American relations. The Czech IVLP Alumni Club organizes several publicly available activities, particularly lectures and workshops organized by the association's goal.
