The ENA is an association devoted to providing a scientific platform for nutraceuticals. Nutraceuticals are nutritional products which have effects that are relevant to health. In contrast to pharmaceuticals however, these are not synthetic substances or chemical compounds formulated for specific indications. These are products that contain nutrients (partly in concentrated form) and are assigned to the category of food.
