Sophrodyne is a scientific research studio working to address cutting-edge challenges in science and engineering from an interdisciplinary, systems-theory perspective. We have extensive research experience in a diverse range of science and engineering topics and are interested in challenging problems that require novel, reliable, clear and reasoned solutions, and to which a scientific mindset can make a substantial contribution. We have a particular interest in all aspects of socio-technical systems – technology, people and relationships between the two. We are passionate about improving the current state of technology by focussing on human-centred design and automation. Our mission is to help create a world in which technology enables and supports human beings, not a world in which technology stands in our way and frustrates our lives.
