The Rawwater Group works for the oil industry providing contract research and consultancy in the fields of materials science, well technology and water management. We forecast, simulate and manage the consequences of water flowing into and through oil reservoirs. Our Clients are included in the Global 500 top 10 companies. In 2012, we were awarded our first $1M single client contract. In the same year, in recognition of our innovative technology offering, we also became a 'Chevron Research Partner'. Rawwater Scientific operates 80 high pressure bioreactors, simulating water injection into oil reservoir environments, to give the operator confidence to take informed and cost effective decisions relating to materials selection, improved hydrocarbon recovery, and remedial chemical treatment relating to reservoir souring. Rawwater Engineering has specialist knowledge of topside and subsea facilities and equipment, and handles research and consultancy associated RECL’s twin fields of subsea raw seawater injection (first patent application filed 1998) and high integrity bismuth plug well abandonment tooling (first patent application filed 2000).
