Long Gate was established in 2012 to provide receivership, asset management and advisory services to special servicers, banks, note-holders, and bankruptcy trustees. Since our inception, we have served as court-appointed receiver on retail, office, multifamily, and lodging assets throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. We offer clients a unique set of skills due to our extensive work with troubled properties. In addition to receiverships, prior work with a special servicer gave our principal, Tom Dwyer, expertise in the asset management of REO and non-performing loans. As a result, we have a thorough understanding of property operations, leasing, and liquidations. Our focus is always on the implementation of strategies that preserve and maximize asset performance. One of the keys to our approach is the engagement of “best-in-class” real estate professionals that specialize in property management, leasing, and asset disposition.
