Journal of Undergraduate Health Research

openjournals.uwaterloo.ca

The University of Waterloo (UW) Journal of Undergraduate Health Research was founded in 2021 by Tara Behroozian and Shayanne Thomas, both undergraduate students in Hon. Health Studies. The UW Journal of Undergraduate Health Research hopes to bring together undergraduate students’ research works related to health from all faculties at the University of Waterloo. This will act as a platform to bring current undergraduate research work to light, while allowing students to make contributions to the field of health research. Having a platform dedicated to publishing undergraduate research work is especially valuable for students as publishing research work during undergraduate studies can be a difficult task to achieve. The opportunity to publish one’s research through a peer-reviewed process can be extremely important for students looking to pursue further professional or graduate studies. Through the peer-review process, our team will ensure that accepted works are well-written, accurate, and are able to address relevant topics in the field of health research.
