While Climax's history can be tracked back to the early 1900's (with bottle washing equipment), more recently it was a Division of the Lodge & Shipley Company located in Cincinnati, Ohio. In August of 1992, however, G. L. Industries purchased Climax from a failing Lodge & Shipley Company, and established itself as a stand-alone company. We like to think of ourselves as a growing, young company with a long tradition of experience in the packaging machinery industry. Sometimes it can be as simple as setting a conveyor height to match the height of our client's existing line; at other times it may be the addition of optional parts or components to meet a specific need. We do not simply manufacture machines. We listen to our clients as they describe their packaging applications, and we recommend what we think would be the best solution.
