The Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University was founded in 1996. Currently, it is comprised of eight institutes, two independent departments, the Centre for Education of Civil Service and Public Administration, the Centre for Educational Leadership Studies at the Jagiellonian University, radio studio of the Internet radio UJOT.fm and television studio of the university UJOT.tv television. The team of research and teaching staff consists of over 250 people, supported by over 80 IT, library and secretarial staff. Over 6,500 students study at the faculty.
