Caygan provides investment management and advisory services from its offices in Singapore and London. The firm’s core products and services include two multi-strategy funds that were launched in 2009 (Japan focus) and 2011 (global focus), customized credit portfolios and investments in private firms tackling environmental and key social problems. Caygan was founded by CIO Naruhisa Nakagawa who initiated a spin-out from a large Japanese asset manager. Together with CEO Nanda Lokanathan, they oversee a team of over 15 professional across 3 locations. The name Caygan is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of deep insight that uncovers the true essence of things.
