To ensure that the curriculum is delivered in way that will maximize learning for all students we use an evidence informed approach to teaching, that focuses on six sound pedagogical principles – challenge, explanation, modelling, practice, questioning and feedback. The professional learning programme across the trust allows teachers to share, reflect and discuss how best to put these into action in their classrooms.
