Warnborough is an independent fund manager which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK. We only serve institutional investors and experienced individuals. We do not operate retail funds. We believe investors’ core equity assets are best allocated to index funds, particularly low-cost and well-governed exchange traded funds (or “ETFs”). What differentiates us is that our preference for seemingly “passive” index funds also envisages the “active” management of those funds. By “active” management we mean the methods used to decide (i) the geographic allocation of your portfolio to each part of the world, achieved by selecting ETFs that track particular regional or global indices and (ii) when you sell, buy or hold your chosen ETFs. We use proprietary "trend following" algorithms to make such decisions.
