Cuestión Pública

www.cuestionpublica.com

We at Cuestión Pública are convinced that traditional journalism in Colombia does not investigate certain topics or people because of a conflict of interest between media outlets and those in power. We are tired of the fact that 57% of radio, television and Internet is controlled by only three economic powers. To make matters worse, investigative reporting is expensive which means traditional media outlets decide not to invest in it because they do not see a return on their investment. With this in mind, our team has joined both our drive and our different skill set to create an independent investigative media outlet that dares both to investigate how those in power spend public funds as well as shine a light on those who abuse power.
