Jay Amer, President of Amer & Associates Economic Development, is a certified economic development professional (Ec.D.) with 25 years experience in marketing, public affairs, communications and business development. Prior to forming his own professional consultancy Jay was responsible for delivery of a wide variety of economic development services including investment attraction, business development, marketing and communications for a regional economic development corporation. His business associates include local and international experts in a variety of business development disciplines. Jay works closely with a broad network of provincial and federal economic development and business partners to ensure his client's meet and exceed their goals. Recent work includes development of municipal economic strategic plans, lead generation, economic research and analysis for investment attraction, inward investment program development and communications, government relations and support accessing various government funding programs.
