The BC LNG Alliance is the voice of British Columbia’s new LNG export industry. Our mission is to foster the growth of a safe, environmentally responsible and globally competitive LNG industry in British Columbia and Canada. Formed in the spring of 2014, the members of the BC LNG Alliance include: • Kitimat LNG (Chevron Canada and Apache Corporation) • LNG Canada (Shell Canada Energy, PetroChina, KOGAS and Mitsubishi Corporation) • Pacific NorthWest LNG (PETRONAS, JAPEX, Indian Oil Corporation, Sinopec and PetroleumBRUNEI) • Prince Rupert LNG (BG Group) • Triton LNG (AltaGas and Idemitsu Canada) • Woodfibre LNG Working with our members, the Alliance aims to: • Foster a globally competitive LNG export industry for the benefit of British Columbians and Canadians • Ensure the industry is developed to the highest environmental and safety standards • Engage with, listen to and address the concerns of communities, First Nations and stakeholders • Provide the public with reliable information about our industry, our operations and best practices, as well as the challenges and opportunities we face as a new industry. • Work with governments to ensure there are policies and programs in place that will enable our industry to reach its full potential.
