The Bucksport Fire and Ambulance Department is a combination full-time/paid per call department staffed by one full-time Chief, one full-time Assistant Chief, one full-time Assistant EMS Director and two full-time Firefighter/EMS providers as well as thirty-five paid per call members. The Station is manned at a minimum by one person 24-hours a day. The Department provides Fire service coverage to the communities of Bucksport and Verona and Emergency Medical Service coverage to the communities of Bucksport, Orland and Verona.
