Ten years ago, the producer based in Sao Paulo is dedicated to telling Brazilian stories of impact. With a great presence in the international market, the company is the source of the main talents in independent production and partner of many important market media players such as Netflix, Globoplay, Amazon Prime Video, Discovery+, Disney+ and HBO Max. The Boutique Filmes has so far three International Emmy Awards nominations and was one of the pioneers in the production of streaming in Brazil, with the international success “3%”. In 2021, Boutique was responsible for producing the first Brazilian true crime for Netflix “Elize Matsunaga: Era uma Vez um Crime”. Furthermore, the producer also produced the fiction series “Temporada de Verao” (Netflix), with Giovanna Lancellotti, Jorge Lopez, Gabz and Andre Luiz Frambach. Currently, Boutique Filmes has invested in great projects, such as: “Mila no Multiverso” (Disney+), a movie that portrays the story of Mila, a character who receives a gift on her sixteenth birthday: the power of traveling between different parallel universes to look for her mother; “Rota 66” (Globoplay), a series based on the best-seller by Caco Barcellos about the police violence committed against young black skin and poor people in Sao Paulo and “O Negociador” (Amazon Prime Video), a series that portrays the intense work of a police negotiator, Captain Gabriel Menck, member of the Special Tactical Action Group (GATE), and the docuseries “PCC: O Poder Secreto” (HBOMax) as well.
