Philly Touch Tours is an organization with the philosophy, ‘Nothing About Us Without Us,’ at its heart. Our team of sighted and visually impaired consultants and educators work with art, cultural and educational institutions and organizations to provide Accessibility Consulting, Disability Awareness/ Sensitivity Training and Creative and Instructional Workshops. We highlight ‘Best Practices’ for forming cultural partnerships with and for visitors with vision loss while considering the revelatory quality of the tactile sense for everyone. We also offer series of multi-sensory tours that include a unique museum experience, an immersion into a favorite local market an innovative history based walking tour. All tours are available for individuals and groups from organizations or centers who support or work with people who are blind or visually impaired.
