SILC (Swedish International Liberal Center) is a foundation that supports democracy in authoritarian and totalitarian countries. SILC is an independent foundation with close ties to the Swedish Liberal Party, Liberalerna. We are based in Stockholm with a field office in Vilnius, Lithuania. SILC is financed by private contributions as well as funding from bilateral donor agencies. Projects are implemented in various countries with an emphasis on Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
