We BUKA Power Plant consultants are located in Chennai and are focusing on Energy efficiency Improvement in the existing Power Plants. Unlike normal consulting, our philosophy extends end to end support beginning with the engineering aspects and leading to project management, procurement and actual execution at site. It is a small team headed by Mr SS Rao, who was CEO/head of Mitsui/Doosan Babcock and Ansaldo Caldaie India operations. Mr Rao has more than 38 years of experience in boiler design(Pulverised Fuel, Fluidised Bed, Stoker Fired, Bio Mass) and also has extensive experience working on projects in India and overseas. Industries that we have worked with include large state utilities for power generation, paper and sugar mills and rice plants. We possess the necessary capabilities from basic and detailed engineering extending to procurement, project management and site services. Given an opportunity , we try to contribute in achieving targets by closely working with the customer with minimum investments. We work from identifying an opportunity of Improvement , till proving of the same based on their approval. In fact , the process will work as small R&M packages. Carrying out R&M in parts will be done either without specific shut or match it with plant planned shut essentially ensuring the plant availability is not affected. We are group of very experienced engineers with OEM background. We shall be able to apply OEM knowledge and achieve improvements through proven technologies. We propose to offer our expertise/knowledge as equipment designers as well as best practices in the project management domain. From our prior work experience ,we have access to a supply chain network ranging for pressure part manufacturers in Trichy ,non pressure parts like Ducting in Central and West India and most of the boiler related packages from domestic and international suppliers.
