The ALS is a proudly Aboriginal community-controlled, not-for-profit organisation striving for just and equitable treatment for Aboriginal people and communities. We provide professional and culturally appropriate legal services in criminal law, children's care and protection, and family law. Through our auspiced services, we also offer tenancy advice and justice reinvestment programs. During the Disability Royal Commission, we are also partnering with NATSILS (National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services) and National Legal Aid to provide legal assistance to participants through Your Story Disability Legal Support.
