Nungunungu Company Limited is a Tanzanian locally-owned tour company based in Mbeya, in the beautiful Southern Highland area in Tanzania. "Nungunungu" is the swahili word for Porcupine represent, a large rodent with sharp spines to protect itself against predators. African porcupines live on the ground and can inhabit deserts, grasslands, and forests.   Nungunungu was founded by avid travelers and family friends who have been exploring Tanzania for more than 10 years with extensive first-hand experience in photography and Mount Kilimanjaro trekking. Their passion for exploring the highest mountains in Africa, glamping on Africa’s Garden of Eden, witnessing the greatest migration show on earth, exploring nature, and sun basking on the white sand and clear blue beaches of Zanzibar got them to share the motherland experience to the rest of the world. We take the same care with planning trips for our clients as we do when our family and personal friends are visiting and we are very happy and excited to host you.
