Scotland's oldest military charity, founded in 1910, providing high quality accommodation and support to ex-servicemen and women who are homeless, isolated or in need at our three sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. We are proud to support veterans to live as independently as they are able. Each residence is a Registered Housing Support Service, regulated by the Care Inspectorate. Our support service is delivered by qualified staff and includes: • Assistance with welfare benefits • Accessing leisure and social activities • Linking in to community networks and services • Sign-posting to specialist services such as alcohol and drugs support services or counselling • Move into mainstream housing where possible • Access to specialist employment mentors to help with accessing education, training and employment opportunities. • Counselling from qualified, professional therapists. In addition there are numerous groups and activities that take place including walking, gardening, fitness training, football, bowling, fishing and days out. Our services are available to anyone who has served in HM Forces, Reserve Forces or Merchant Marine, regardless of age or length of service.
