My name is Jeremy Jacobs and I am Cookie Jar Consultancy. I have been running my own successful business now for 11 years. I own and run Raise Bakery, a food manufacturing business specialising in sweet baked goods, cakes, biscuits, cookies etc. Prior to that I had a successful career in digital marketing. Running your own business is tough and requires real grit and determination. I taught myself pretty much everything I know about running a business and had to learn the "hard way". Looking back over my 11 years the one thing I wish I had done differently would be to seek support from a mentor or coach a lot earlier. Having someone who wasn’t involved in the day to day running of the business, has a wealth of experience and was dedicated to supporting me in making my business a success would have been amazing. Suffice to say I now have a coach of my own! I am currently studying for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Sussex University. This course has been invaluable to my growth and continues to give me lots of skills and knowledge in all aspects of business. What I am learning will directly impact on your business.
