Offshore Construction Specialists (OCS) was formed in 2007 to provide offshore construction management and consulting services. An increase in offshore construction activity and the delivery of new marine construction equipment has left the marine construction industry facing a severe shortage of qualified, experienced personnel. OCS has been established to provide the required expertise to both operators and contractors who lack offshore construction departments or need additional specialist expertise to properly manage and execute offshore constructions projects. The company has grown steadily since incorporation and now employs 25 personnel of whom 15 are civil /structural engineers specialising in marine construction engineering. The company office in Toh Guan Rd, Singapore has room for additional expansion. OCS Clients have come from both the oil company and marine contracting side and include Conoco Phillips, Star Petroleum, Amerada Hess, Asia Petroleum Developments ( Salamander), EMAS, Larson and Tubro and Sapura Acergy. OCS has also developed a suite of strategic portable equipment which includes a comprehensive spread of pipeline pre-commissioning pipeline post trenching and pile remediation equipment. The equipment is managed and operated by OCS engineers.
