The Delmore “Buddy” Daye Learning Institute (DBDLI) works with communities, organizations and government in the identification, development and implementation of educational initiatives, projects and policies that impact African Nova Scotian/ African Canadian learners, educators and communities. Through research initiatives and the development of and distribution of learning resources based in Africentric leadership principles, the DBDLI’s mandate is to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for African Nova Scotian/ African Canadian learners, educators and build capacity within African Nova Scotian communities.
