We are (it), a social project made up of an interdisciplinary group of people including engineers, parathletes, and psychologists. This initiative began in 2019 with the aim of closing the mobility and information gaps between people with physical disabilities, through the development and implementation of empowerment programs and accessible medical devices. Throughout the project, we have established important links with users, organizations, and volunteers that have allowed us to shape the project and its proposals in order to meet the most important needs of a person with a lower limb amputation. At (it) we consider that access to information is as important a resource as physical independence within the empowerment process of the person with a disability.
