TGI is a joint initiative of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The aim was to be an effective training center for transferring advanced manufacturing technology to Thai industry. Founded in 1995, TGI started operation in December 1997. The institute has a 17,800-square meters work space equipped with state-of-the-art machineries. With the objective of delivering effective practical training and a great variety of technical services directly to clients. TGI provides a variety of services such as training, seminar, consultancy, R&D and industrial jobs which all aim to transfer advanced production manufacturing technology to them.
