Our Mission: WVDO empowers its members to develop resources and fundraising excellence. We learn together. We support one another. We improve non-profits and the communities they serve. We live our mission by: Providing workshops, interest groups, networking events, conferences and educational opportunities for anyone working in nonprofit fundraising. We serve development officers as well as executive directors, volunteers, board members and nonprofit staff. We assist development professionals in finding jobs with our Job Source posting service and our Executive Search Service. In addition we are now offering workshops on interview skills/resume reviews and business etiquette. The majority of our programs are volunteer led building on the idea of peer-to-peer learning. This includes opportunities for peer mentors.
