Curtiss R/C (as a tribute to Glenn Hammond Curtiss) is a team of aero enthusiasts from VIT University, Vellore who build and fly planes.We specialise in designing, fabricating and piloting fixed wing planes and racing quadcopters. The following are the list of competitions in which our team participated: Boeing Aerotrix IIT Bombay Shastra IIT Madras SAE India IDRL Nagpur Aerodominator ‘16 and ‘17 The skill of flying a plane gives us an edge, this has also helped us in conducting various Aero-modelling workshops and Aero-shows in our university.
