Established in 1927, Blue Grass Insurance Agency is one of Kentucky’s oldest and more reputable independent insurance agencies. Family owned for three generations, the agency primarily services the people of Kentucky, yet maintains extensive capabilities nationwide. The agency, founded by Mr. H. A. Reddick, was originally a personal lines insurance agency, combined with real estate sales. In 1957 the firm was acquired by Ray Pippen who expanded its product line to include commercial property and casualty insurance and serviced clients throughout the United States. In 1985, with the retirement of Ray Pippen, the agency was purchased by its present owner, Scott D. Pippen. The agency then further diversified into all types of commercial insurance including individual, as well as group employee benefits. We work hard to build a trusted relationship with our customers.
