America's Job Center of California (AJCC) provides a comprehensive range of no-cost employment and training services for employers and job seekers. Including youth, veterans and individuals with disabilities can utilize the AJCC. Southeast Los Angeles AJCC operated by Hub Cities Consortium, based in Huntington Park, California, was founded in 1988 as the primary public job training and placement center for residents of Southeast Los Angeles area. The AJCC can assist job seekers in obtaining employment, and strengthening their skill set. Via CalJOBS, job seekers can post résumés, and search and apply for job openings. Many workshops and training classes, such as interview techniques, are available and job seekers can receive career guidance. The AJCC can assist employers in finding and hiring skilled workers. Via CalJOBS, employers can post unlimited job listings, search and screen résumés, and contact potential applicants. Employers can also connect with local resources to provide training programs for their employees, learn about tax credits for their business, and access additional resources, including labor market information. The Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board funds Southeast LA AJCC - Hub Cities employment and training programs.
