THEA is a non-profit organization formed to help provide sustainable solutions for those affected by the devastation caused by the 1/10 earthquake in Haiti and more recently Hurricane Tomas, and the cholera epidemic. THEA is dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities by enabling children to go to school, supporting rural teachers and schools, and establishing sewing and backyard gardening training programs. The 12 members of the Board of Directors are educators, therapists, nurses, and others from NY, NJ, MD, and GA.
