IAFA - Irish Accounting and Finance Association
www.iafa.ieEstablished in 1986, the IAFA is an academic organisation whose aim is to promote high quality research and teaching of accounting, finance and related subjects, particularly in the Irish third level education sector. The association has approximately 250 members. Activities of the IAFA include the association’s annual research conference, the association’s annual doctoral colloquium, research methods workshops, a bi-annual sponsored seminar series with presentations from eminent internationally recognised academics and involvement in various sponsorship of emerging researchers at international doctoral colloquia. The association also provides many opportunities for networking within the academic and professional accounting communities. The Accounting, Finance and Governance Review is published by the Irish Accounting and Finance Association as part of the process of fulfilling its objective to advance accounting and related disciplines in the education and research fields particularly in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Membership applications are welcome from all interested academic, and accounting and finance professionals, wherever located.
