IndustriALL Global Union represents 50 million workers in 140 countries in the mining, energy and manufacturing sectors and is a force in global solidarity taking up the fight for better working conditions and trade union rights around the world. Our mission is to build trade union power and to defend workers’ rights in our sectors. Strong democratic unions are essential to social equality and democracy. IndustriALL has signed Global Framework Agreements (GFAs) with 46 major corporations including Peugeot, Ford, H&M, Inditex, Siemens and Statoil. GFAs put in place the very best standards of trade union rights, health, safety and environmental practices, and quality of work principles across a company's global operations, regardless of whether those standards exist in an individual country.
