G H Raisoni College of Engineering (GHRCE) Nagpur, established in 1996, is an autonomous institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The institute became autonomous in 2010 for a period of six years till 2016 and UGC has renewed autonomous status till 2022. It is ranked 139th for 2020 PAN India in Engineering Discipline as declared by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) , MHRD, Government of India. It ranked 111th by NIRF-2019. It is ranked in the band 100-150 for 2018 and 67th for 2017 in Engineering Discipline as declared by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), MHRD, Government of India. Institute is also ranked 69th PAN India by India Today MDRA Survey 2018. GHRCE offers 08 Undergraduate, 12 Postgraduate and 07 Doctoral progammes with total intake of 1434. The total strength of students is around 5000. It has been accredited with "A" grade by NAAC in 2012 and re-accredited in second cycle with A+ grade for five years wef from 12th Sept 2017. It has completed three cycles of NBA accreditation and re-accreditations. Currently, it’s all (seven) undergraduate programs are accredited under Tier-I. Also six postgraduate programs have been accredited and four postgraduate programs were re-accredited by NBA. GHRCE has received number of Sponsored research projects from DST, AICTE, IEI, UGC, TEQIP-II etc. worth Rs. 10 Crore plus.
