James Lind Care is an international patient organization founded in 2011. It facilitates research focused patient communities in Europe, guiding patients in their clinical trial engagements. The mission and work of James Lind Care are guided by the purposes and principles contained in our Founding Charter. Due to our many members and unique international character, James Lind Care can take action on the issues confronting patient centricity in clinical trials, such as understandable communication, gentle protocol design, attentive enrollment, adequate feedback on research results, and more. James Lind Care also provides a community for our members to express their views. By enabling feedback from members, driving research in patient centricity, and by hosting patient advocacy group meetings, our organisation has become a mechanism for pharmaceutical companies to find inspiration and guidelines in an attempt to improve patient centricity in clinical trials.
