At the Wela Way we believe that youth who learn critical financial life skills early on grow up to be successful leaders of their own lives tomorrow – something most of us want for our kids. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to provide parents, educators and financial professionals with ready made, easy to follow tools that both kids and teens enjoy using. Lack of financial understanding and how money works has been proven to lead to frustration, depression, divorce and worse. By teaching our kids how to properly handle the number one resource we deal with everyday, we’re giving them power over their future. We’re eliminating the cause of so many problems and providing them with a stable platform they can use to build the life of their dreams. It’s not only for kids and teens. While most of us have grown up and learned the hard way about money, we still don’t fully grasp all aspects of being financially stable. Sure we may have great careers, businesses, and to some extent – investments, but there is still a lot we can learn. Especially about how to pass on those experiences, and that hard earned knowledge to the next generation.
